She made her big screen debut with Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Sarkaru Bari Pata’. It was released in 2022. After the release, Sitara received great appreciation. 12-year-old Sitara gave an interview to Dream Media about her acting career.
Sitara is born and brought up in a filmy family. His grandfather Krishna was a famous actor. Both Sitara’s parents are popular actors. How does one look at successfully carrying forward the family legacy?
In response to the moderator’s question, Sitara said, ‘It feels really good to carry this legacy forward. Glad to be part of this wonderful family. Many people ask me if I want to act. Now I think about it. I am interested in both modeling and acting. But I am only 12 years old. So I’m not sure yet.’
Sitara has modeled in an advertisement for a jewelery company. Mahesh Babu cried after seeing the girl in this advertisement. Reminiscing that, Sitara said, “My mother is a very strict person. But father loves me a lot. I remember, Dad cried when he saw my PMJ ad for the first time. I got my fashion sense from my mother. i’m crazy But mother doesn’t keep her clothes for me. My mother is a ‘Miss India’ winner. She had a great modeling career. Overwhelmed by her photo at the ‘Miss India’ pageant.”
Sitara has been selected as the new brand ambassador of jewelery brand PMJ. The company launches a special jewellery; Which is named ‘Sitara’. Last year’s July 4 ad was launched in Times Square, USA.
In personal life, Mahesh Babu tied the knot with Namrata Shirodkar. Son Gautam and daughter Sitara have brightened the couple’s house. Sitara was born in 2012. Apart from acting, Sitara is also very good at dancing.
Sitara and her elder brother Gautam trained in acting. While Sitara trained in Hyderabad, her brother Gautam is pursuing a four-year degree in drama from a university in New York, said Sitara.
