On the 16th episode of Channel A’s ‘My Dad is a Flower Middle-aged Man’ that aired on the 15th, DJ DOC’s Jung Jae-yong, a ’52-year-old single man’ who has been living a secluded life for two years after his divorce and has been struggling financially, was shown reuniting with his ‘ex-wife’ Lee Sun-ah, who is 19 years younger than him, as the first step in returning to being ‘Yeon-ji’s father’.
Jung Jae-yong woke up earlier than usual, made his bed, and showed that he was paying much attention to his health. He was trying to show a good side of himself because he was meeting his ex-wife, Yeon-ji’s mother, after two years of divorce. Immediately after, Jung Jae-yong said, “I decided to get rid of all my current lifestyle habits in order to go back to being Yeon-ji’s father whom I haven’t seen in two years,” and after getting all dressed up, he left for the meeting place.
Jung Jae-yong confessed, “(With my ex-wife) it all came to this in an instant, and I realized ‘oh no’ only when I got to court,” and then showed a nervous look, saying, “I don’t know what to say first when we meet.”
Jung Jae-yong carefully presented his six-year-old daughter with clothes as a gift. He also prepared a bouquet of flowers that he said he had “never bought for my ex-wife” and waited for her.
