Jai Beam is a film directed by Gnanavell and starring Surya in the crowd. The film also stars Karnan actress Rajisha Vijayan in the lead role.

Actor Surya plays a lawyer who advocates for the aboriginal people in this film which talks about the life and rights of the dark aboriginal people.

Released on ODT in November last year, the film received rave reviews and received numerous awards for its success.

At the 12th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival, as the list of awards was released, Jaybeam won 2 awards.

Jaybeam has been nominated for Best Picture and Manikandan for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Rajakannu in the film .This information has been shared by the film’s production company 2D.
