jpnn.com – BANDUNG – The Dadang Supriatna-Ali Syakieb pair will compete against Sahrul Gunawan–Gun Gun Gunawan in the Bandung Regency Pilkada, if both of them meet the requirements to be participants in the 2024 Pilkada.
According to the Chairman of the Bandung Regency General Election Commission (KPU), Syam Zamiat Nursyamsi, his party has received the registration files of the two pairs in question.
The KPUD is now verifying the completeness of the required documents according to KPU Regulation number 2 of 2024.
“Two prospective candidate pairs, namely Dadang Supriatna-Ali Syakieb and Sahrul Gunawan–Gun Gun Gunawan have registered as Pilkada participants at the Bandung Regency KPU Office,” said Syam in Bandung Regency, Friday (30/8).
Syam said that the two pairs of prospective regent and deputy regent candidates had submitted all the required documents for registering as regional election participants.
The Bandung Regency KPU will still conduct research on the registration files.
If there are still incomplete documents, the KPU will again notify the prospective candidate pairs to make corrections to the documents that have been submitted.
He said the KPU would provide additional time for improvements.
The Dadang Supriatna-Ali Syakieb pair will face Sahrul Gunawan–Gun Gun Gunawan in the 2024 Bandung Regency Pilkada.
