The National Museum of Fight against Bandits served as the initial location for the performances, followed by appearances at The romantic, the Architecture, and the Municipal History museums. The series culminated at the Tristá gallery within the Cultural Promotion Center of the Office of the Conservator of Trinidad and the Valley of the Ingenios, marking the sixth staging since December 3rd.
“This is a version of the wedding rooster; but with the spirit of Trinidad because we appropriate many of the indigenous craft resources of the third largest town in Cuba to weave our stories,” explained the director and actor, Fernando Miguel Gómez, who was awarded the Hugo hernández Provincial Theater Award in 2025.
Commitment to Community and Young Audiences
Dador Teatro’s impact extends beyond artistic achievement, with a particular emphasis on engaging young audiences. The group has consistently produced shows designed for children, skillfully blending clown techniques and theater of figures. Notable productions include donkey story and Dirty Peak, the latter of which was featured at the fifth edition of the Habana Titiritera Festival, “figures between cobblestones,” last August.
The company expressed gratitude for the support received from various organizations, including the Provincial and Municipal directorates of Culture, the Performing Arts Directorate, the Trinidad Office, the Aldaba company, and the Julio Cueva Díaz House of Culture.
