Wasted drinking water

Municipal pipes leading to the 1st mile from Cuddalore in the Nilgiris district are found to be faulty in most places. Thus drinking water is wasted. No action has been taken to repeatedly demand that new pipes be fitted to replace the faulty ones. So we have to install new pipes there to prevent wastage of drinking water.

There is a municipality-owned crematorium at Suleswaranpatti near Pollachi. This crematorium is currently being turned into a garbage dump. Lots of rubbish is being dumped there, causing great inconvenience due to the strong stench while transporting the bodies of the deceased for burial. So the authorities should take action and clean up the rubbish that has accumulated in the crematorium and prevent the rubbish from being dumped there.

Coimbatore Vilankurichi Co-operative City has an electric pole. The pole is tilted and can fall down at any time. No action has been taken to inform the authorities about this. Therefore, this pole should be repaired immediately as it can cause danger at any time in the inclined position.

Frequent accidents occur at the Somanur Krishnapuram Senthil Nagar bus stand near Coimbatore. The public could not cross the road as vehicles were speeding. So if the authorities take action and set a speed limit here the accident can be prevented. We have to make way for it.
