Israel confirms it killed Hamas military leader Mohammed Deif
According to the Israeli military statement, Deif was “eliminated” in an airstrike on July 13 on the outskirts of Khan Yunis, a city in southern Gaza. The attack, which initially raised doubts about whether it achieved its objective, is now confirmed as a direct blow to the leadership of Hamas. However, the human cost of this military operation was enormous, with reports of more than 90 civilian casualties in the surrounding area.
Queues of up to six hours to enter Russia from Estonia
The suspension of commercial flights to Russia and the closure of Finnish border crossings has led to hundreds of foreigners in Estonia who are going to Russia to work or visit family. Every day, about 300 people are queuing at the Estonian border crossing. The wait can last up to six hours, so to save time, people are taking a taxi from Tallinn to Narva.
