Will the road be repaired?
Tanjore District Kumbakonam Area Kumarankudi Panchayat The road from the lower street to the upper street is bumpy and potholed. Thus during the rainy season the road stagnates like a pool of rainwater. This makes it impossible for the public to walk on the road. In addition, motorists are getting into a lot of trouble on the bumpy road. So, will the concerned authorities take action to rehabilitate the road in the above area in the interest of the public and motorists?

An underground sewer pit has been set up in the middle of the road near the East Police Station in the lower entrance area of Thanjavur. This pit was opened for maintenance work. But when the work is completed the sewer pit remains unsealed. Also, there is a pile of sewage in the middle of the road. Thus creating a stench throughout the area. Due to this, motorists and the public are getting into a lot of trouble. So, will the concerned authorities take action to close the open sewerage pit in the middle of the above area road?
