Daimler Truck Saltillo receives the ELSSA 2023 Award for a safe work environment

The Daimler Truck Saltillo plant was awarded the ELSSA 2023 National Award, which is awarded by the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS)within the framework of the Second International Congress on Safe and Healthy Work Environments (ELSSA).

Daimler Saltillo stood out among more than 10 thousand companies throughout the country that are members of ELSSA, by achieving a 61% reduction in its accident rate and a 76% reduction in time lost due to work risks, in addition to 5 thousand medical checkups, 160 women with cancer detection, among other achievements.

In a ceremony held in Mexico City, the general director of the IMSS, Zoé Robledo, was in charge of delivering said recognition to the company representative, Luis Patricio Quiroz Villarreal.

Thanks to the ELSSA program, 141,107 workers from 245 companies have benefited in Coahuila by improving their health, safety and well-being; reduce the rate of occupational accidents and illnesses; adopt healthy lifestyles, and prevent the development of chronic-degenerative diseases, highlighted the Occupational Safety specialist of the General Hospital of Zone (HGZ) No. 2, Dr. Ángel Daniel Guerrero Flores.
