The ceremony to celebrate this event began with the salute of the national colors to the sound of the national anthem, in the presence of the wali of the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region, governor of the Oued Eddahab province, Ali Khalil, the governor of the Aousserd province, Abderrahaman El Jaouhari, the head of regional security in Dakhla, El Bachir Moumma, the heads of the various security services in Dakhla, elected officials, local officials and community actors.
In a speech for the occasion, Mr. Moumma stressed that the DGSN, as part of its general strategy, has worked in recent years to create the appropriate conditions for its officials to carry out their noble missions, stressing that the Directorate has ensured the completion of the modernization of the security services’ infrastructure, the development of work mechanisms and the improvement of the social and professional conditions of members of the National Security.
In this regard, he said that the Dakhla police district has been established as a regional security equipped with the necessary and qualified human resources and logistical equipment and means of transport, which will be reflected in the efficiency and quality of the security offer provided to citizens.
Furthermore, Mr. Moumma reviewed the action report of the various regional security services, during the period from May 1, 2023 to April 30, 2024, in terms of providing administrative services and the fight against crime and all forms of delinquency and violation of the law.
The celebration of this anniversary is an opportunity to recall the immeasurable efforts made by the DGSN in maintaining public order and protecting people and their property. It is also a time to renew the oath for responsible fulfillment of duty in the service of citizens and the law.
