In a statement to MAP, the head of the environmental actions department at ONEE – Electricity Branch, El Ansi Mohamed El Amine, indicated that the Office pays particular attention to the preservation of the environment and sustainable development, noting that the creation of this incubator reflects a concrete desire to promote a responsible environmental culture, thus supporting national sustainable development objectives.

For her part, the Director of Safety, Environment and Quality at ONEE – Electricity Branch, Myriem Lemseffer, stressed that this educational nursery embodies a fusion between nature and ocean recycling, the objective being to raise awareness among citizens and more particularly the rising generations of the importance of preserving the environment.

This nursery, made up of natural plantations and plants created from recycled plastic, also aims to raise awareness among children of the importance of recycling plastic waste in protecting the environment and to raise awareness among citizens of the dangers of plastic pollution for the oceans.

On the sidelines of the inauguration of this educational nursery, the children of the pearl of the south benefited from several creative workshops, aimed at raising their awareness of the protection and safeguarding of the environment to ensure sustainable management of resources.

The #B7arBlaPlastic operation, initiated by the Mohammed VI Foundation for the Protection of the Environment, under the effective presidency of Her Royal Highness Princess Lalla Hasnaa, is part of the 25th season of the “Clean Beaches” program targeting this year 109 beaches, including 27 labeled “Blue Flag”, in addition to four marinas and, for the first time, a natural park.
