Dakhla-Oued Eddahab: More than 1,900 beneficiaries of a multidisciplinary medical caravan

Initiated by the “Al Hakama and Social Solidarity” Association of Mohammedia, in partnership with the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection, the wilaya of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab and the province of Aousserd, and with the support of the Regional Council, this medical campaign benefited 1,200 people in Dakhla, 280 in El Guergarat and 465 in Bir Gandouz.

Mobilizing a staff of 19 doctors, in addition to multi-skilled nurses, this caravan provided care covering consultations in general medicine and specialized consultations in cardiology, pediatrics, gynecology and ophthalmology, in addition to oral and dental care.

In a statement to MAP, the president of the “Al Hakama and social solidarity” association of Mohammedia, Khadija El Ammari, stressed that this campaign took place in good conditions, saluting the entire medical team and the authorities. local communities for their efforts and commitment to making this solidarity action a success.

She also noted that this initiative aims to bring medical services closer to social categories in vulnerable situations, with a view to reducing the burden on health centers.

This three-day medical campaign was marked by the free distribution of prescription drugs, directly after consultation with the attending physician.
