Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, his fan organization, celebrated his thirtieth year in cinema by doing charity work. 30 new born babies were gifted gold rings and new clothes by fans.

Gold rings were presented to the children born in Adyar Government Maternity Hospital. Similarly, earlier, 20 newborn babies were given gold rings by Vijay fans at Chrompet Government Hospital.

Makkal Iyakkam officials are gearing up for Vijay’s next film Varish, directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Rashmika Mandhana is the heroine. The film will hit theaters on Pongal.
