Indra Makewal is a 9-year-old boy from Surana village in Jalur district of Rajasthan. Indra Makewal, who belongs to the caste community, is studying in a school in the village.

Meanwhile, Indra Meghwal touched the water pot in the classroom on the 20th of last month and drank water from it.

Seeing this, the class teacher Shail Singh (40 years old) severely attacked the student Indra Meghwal. The teacher assaulted the student for touching the drinking pot as he belonged to the Scheduled Caste community.

In the attack by the teacher, the student Makwal was seriously injured in the face, ear and eye area and was admitted to the hospital in an unconscious state. He was admitted to Udaipur Hospital for further treatment from the District Hospital. There, the student was receiving regular treatment for the past few days.

In this case, the student Indra Makewal, who was undergoing intensive treatment at the hospital, died yesterday.

The police have registered a case of murder against the teacher Shail Singh and are investigating.
