The first episode of “Dallas”, a cult series from the 1980s set in the Texan metropolis, was broadcast 41 years ago on Rai 1. The main characters are the members of a rich family of oilmen, ready to do anything to overwhelm the competitors-rivals. The show soon moved to Canale 5 becoming one of the most important commercial TV programs. “Dallas” was one of the first series distributed almost all over the world, translated and dubbed into 67 different languages in more than 90 countries, a record for American television still unbeaten. Also in Italy the overwhelming success (the first episode followed by almost 16 million and 500 thousand spectators) and the show which in total has 14 seasons broadcast until 1992. Mysteries, twists and suspense are on the agenda and at the level of audience “Dallas” long rivaled the other great series of the time, “Dynasty”. But what happened to all the protagonists over the years?
