Tindivanam: On the highway near Tindivanam, a lorry stopped on the road without diesel and affected the traffic for an hour. The lorry was coming from Chennai towards Villupuram yesterday at 12:00 midnight. When Tindivanam passed the next Saram Lebai, suddenly a lorry without diesel stopped on the road. Due to this, the truck could not be removed from there.
As a result, the traffic was affected. The highway patrol police arrived at the spot and contacted the Ongur toll booth and asked them to send a crane to remove the truck. However, the toll booth employees refused saying that they could not bring the crane as they were owed salary. Following this, all the vehicles on the Chennai-Trichy National Highway were diverted in the opposite direction. Due to this, traffic was affected for an hour.
