The 6-track mini-album ‘Extreme Evil,’ released by Dump Matsumoto through Victor Musical Industries (now Victor Entertainment), has become a rare item since its initial release on record. Notable artists such as Ryuichi Sakamoto, 44MAGNUM, Moon Riders, and members of Godiego contributed to the tracks, and its innovative sound is currently being reevaluated. Songs like “Dump The Heel,” written and composed by 44MAGNUM’s Tomofumi Miyawaki (Dr) and Tatsuya Umehara (Vo), and “Trouble Maker,” by Miyawaki and Satoshi Hirose (Gt), showcase the impressive metal sound characteristic of 44MAGNUM. Additionally, the electropop track “Hells Angels,” provided by the late Ryuichi Sakamoto, and the ambient arrangement of “MAJI,” are hidden gems typical of the genius. The composition “Dangerous Queen” by Godiego’s Yukihide Takekawa (Vo) and Takaki Asano (Gt), along with “Extreme Evil” by Kenzo Saeki and Ryoichi Shirai, are also overflowing with the essence of Dump Matsumoto.
