TelevisaUnivision announced the appointment of Daniel Alegre like the new one Director General (CEO) of the company.
On Wednesday, September 18, TelevisaUnivision announced in a statement that Daniel Alegre will be the new CEO of the company, replacing Wade Davis, who will become vice president of the board of directors and will continue as a member of the Executive Committee of the Board, after leading the transformation of the company.
On the other hand, the world’s leading media and content company indicated that Alegre will take office as of September 19, 2024.

TelevisaUnivision also expressed its congratulations on his appointment for this new path.

Who is Daniel Alegre?
Daniel Alegre is originally from Mexico. He has extensive work experience in the US, Mexico and Latin America.
He began his career in radio and music in Mexico and Central America.
He has worked for 30 years in areas such as media, entertainment and technology.
Most recently, he served as CEO of Non-Fungible Token (NFT) maker Yuga Labs, a leading Web3 company.

He took on the role of president and chief operating officer of Activision Blizzard, where he oversaw international game studios and the marketing of franchises for the company’s award-winning video games.
He was part of Google, where he drove reach and revenue growth during his 16-year tenure. However, he opened Google offices in Latin America and Asia.
