Daniela Katzenberger has taken on a new challenge. The reality star has now taken to the stage for a fitness competition.
Daniela Katzenberger has recently undergone a visual transformation. Last year she lost ten kilograms through a change in diet and exercise. Since then, she has not only shown off her new body on her Instagram account, but now also in a fitness contest.
In her Vox documentary of the same name, Daniela Katzenberger was seen at a World Fitness Federation competition on Friday evening. After months of strength training and a strict diet, Katzenberger stood in front of an expert jury to compete in the glamour model class. Despite the intensive preparation, she was plagued by doubts and nervousness. The 37-year-old confessed: “I put so much pressure on myself. It’s so bad!”
The day before the competition, the TV celebrity was rubbed with self-tanner by bodybuilding world champion Lia Liebing to visually accentuate her muscles. “I don’t want people to think this was a joke tomorrow because I’m so bored in Mallorca right now,” Katzenberger said, expressing concerns before the start of the fitness event.
Her husband Lucas Cordalis, however, was optimistic: “I think she’ll be in the top three.” Daniela Katzenberger’s mother Iris Klein also appeared at the fitness contest alongside him and seemed confused about what her daughter’s role at the event actually was: “Is she singing the national anthem?”
Instead of singing, Daniela Katzenberger appeared on stage in swimwear, but the audience’s reaction unsettled her, as she later explained: “It was the worst situation for me. Nevertheless, she dared to go on stage again, this time in an evening dress, and was able to celebrate a success. She took second place among four contestants, which she shared with another participant.
How did Daniela Katzenberger react to the result? “That was so crazy! I came second,” she said happily. The reason for her euphoria may also have been that as the runner-up in the competition she automatically qualified for the “Miss Universe” competition in Las Vegas.
