FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Prospective gubernatorial candidate for South Sulawesi Danny Pomanto met with PPP Deputy General Chair Amir Uskara (AU).
The two met at a cafe on Jalan Sudirman, Jakarta, Thursday, (1/8/2024).
Danny met Amir Uskara after receiving a recommendation from the National Awakening Party (PKB). They met for over an hour.
“I immediately met Mr. AU. We had coffee for more than an hour with AU. My clothes were the same (when I received the PKB recommendation, ed),” said Danny in Jakarta when contacted by telephone.
It is known that after receiving the PKB recommendation, it means that the Coalition together with PDI-P and PPP have secured a total of 22 seats in the South Sulawesi gubernatorial election.
Danny also plans to meet the Chairman of the PDI Perjuangan South Sulawesi, Andi Ridwan Wittiri, tomorrow.
“I will report Andi Iwan Wittiri immediately. But he is heading to Makassar. And I have met you at the airport earlier. Tomorrow I will meet you in Makassar again,” said the Mayor of Makassar.
Previously, there were five points in the PKB recommendations signed by PKB General Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar and PKB Secretary General Hasanuddin Wahid, including:
First, to ratify Moh. Ramdhan Pomanto and H. Azhar Arsyad, S H., MH. as the Candidate Pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of South Sulawesi for the 2024-2029 Period from the National Awakening Party.
Second, giving tasks and responsibilities to Moh. Ramdhan Pomanto and H. Azhar Arsyad, SH, MH to work earnestly in winning the 2024 South Sulawesi Governor and Deputy Governor Election by coordinating and involving the structure of the National Awakening Party in South Sulawesi Province in preparing work programs, forming winning teams and recruiting witnesses.
