jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Acting Governor of Central Papua Rebekah Haluk opened his voice regarding the shooting by an armed criminal group (KKB) which killed Danramil 04 Aradide Letda Inf. Oktovianus Sogalrey, Thursday (11/4) yesterday.
“I am very concerned and regret the incident,” said Rebekah Haluk.
Rebekah also expressed deep condolences for the death of Danramil 04 Aradide Ltda Inf. Oktovianus Sogalrey.
“On behalf of the community and the government, I convey my deepest condolences to the family (of the deceased) who was left behind,” he said.
He also expressed his thanks to the late Ltda Inf. Oktovianus Sogalrey for his dedication and service while serving well in Paniai, Deiyai and Dogiyai Regencies, especially in Aradide.
“I would like to express my deepest gratitude and appreciation to the deceased for his dedication and service during his time on duty. “The report we received was that the deceased was a protective figure for the community where he was assigned,” concluded Rebekah.
Previously, Lt. Inf Oktovianus Sogalrey was shot dead by KKB while passing by on a motorbike in the Pasir Putih area, Aradide District, Paniai Regency, Central Papua, Thursday (11/4) afternoon.
Kapendam XVII/Cenderawasih Lt. Col. Inf Candra Kurniawan said Lt. Oktovianus Sogalrey was shot by KKB.
