DARE FOR AFRICA in support of Ousmane SONKO and the wounded Senegalese people

June 10, 2023

The Pan-African Movement, Dare for Africa, whose leader, Marc Ulrick MALEKOU is in the running for the 2023 presidential election in Gabon, reiterates its unambiguous support for the Senegalese opponent Ousmane SONKO and the youth of this country, who are paying the heavy toll, in a surge of patriotic solidarity against a decision of justice under orders, against Ousmane SONKO.

May the blood of the martyrs recorded in the violence of recent days, come, as the thinker urges us, to sow the march full of pitfalls towards the return to democracy in Senegal. Democracy won after a hard struggle, and now undermined by President Macky SALL, whose actions border on dictatorial practices, like the BONGO clan in Gabon, sadly embodied by an Ali BONGO, repeat offender of electoral coups and politically seasoned in the practices of encroachment on political freedom.

Senegal, Gabon and the rest of Africa do not deserve this tarnished image which refers to the reign of institutionalized hooliganism, against a background of undemocratic retention of power. Obscure projects, in which their authors become accomplices in maintaining the imperialist yoke on the shoulders of Africa. A yoke several centuries old, and which continues to seal the access of African States to their national sovereignty, by cynically defeating the possibility for its peoples to freely choose their leaders.

A sign of the times, the backdrop of this socio-economic and political crisis which is tearing Senegal apart is the ill-disguised ambition of the Macky SALL clan and Emmanuel MACRON’s France, to eliminate by acts of anti game a pretender seriously in the presidential election of 2024 in Senegal, I quoted, the tribune Ousmane SONKO, political locomotive of the youth of his country and more than ever, figurehead of a new breed of worthy daughters and sons of Africa, determined to free themselves from all forms of imperialist heaviness.

People of Gabon, this year’s presidential election which will be organized in a few months, and for which yours truly is a candidate with the avowed ambition to sign the death certificate of Françafrique, requires us to prepare psychologically, morally and spiritually , aimed at unprecedented response actions, in the event of a new electoral hold-up. Because liberating Gabon, like liberating Senegal, is a civic imperative.

It is in this dynamic that the Pan-African Movement Dare for Africa, remains in solidarity with the Senegalese people in their fight for the respect of their dignity and their freedom, while renewing their support for their charismatic leader, Ousmane SONKO.

Long live free Senegal, long live free Gabon and long live Eternal Africa.

For the Pan-African Movement DARE FOR AFRICA

Its President Marc Ulrick MALEKOU,
