Darius, the largest rabbit in the world, has been kidnapped

Time.news – The British police are engaged in an unusual investigation: to find Darius, the largest rabbit in the world, stolen from the garden of its owners in Stoulton, in the Worcestershire region.

Like many of his fellows he has long ears and loves carrots, only that Darius is a record-breaking rabbit, entered in the Guinness Book as the largest rabbit at the waist, with its 129 centimeters in length and 20 kilos.

Heartfelt appeal from its owner Annette Edwards on Twitter: she offers one reward of a thousand pounds to those who will bring it home, specifying that the rabbit is too old to procreate, it would be 11 years old.

Stoulton police are looking for witnesses and clues to solve the ‘mystery’ of the stolen rabbit, but at the moment no information has leaked on the progress of the investigation.

At the end of her modeling career, Edwards, now 68, has successfully dedicated herself to breeding rabbits and dogs. Among his reasons for pride, in addition to Darius, there is Daisy May, daughter of the record-breaking rabbit, who could even surpass her father in terms of size.

“She is really a very big ‘girl’, she has already reached 111.7 cm and over 16 kilos. She is bigger than our dog King Charles,” added the owner, speaking to the local press.

Two years ago Edwards had suffered a great loss: one of his rabbits mysteriously died on a direct flight to the USA. Simon was supposed to have obtained the title of the largest rabbit in the world, by blowing it to his father Darius, but he died aboard a United Airlines Boeing 767 that took off from Heathrow, which was supposed to take him along with his mistress to a new success.
