In commemoration of the sanction of the National Constitution, the Board of Historical Studies of Tucumán will develop a series of activities with the aim of reflecting on the difficult path traveled to achieve the Magna Carta. The focus is on its genesis, the facts, the men in power, in the armies, the lawyers and intellectuals who represented us and the bloody internal struggles that followed one another until it was approved. The program will begin on Wednesday, at 7:00 p.m., at the Alberto Rougés Cultural Center of the Miguel Lillo Foundation (Laprida 31) and with free admission. On this first day, Sergio Díaz Ricci will address the topic “Provincial states in the genesis of the Constitution of 1853” and Gilda Pedicone de Valls will speak about the life of the great promoter of the Fundamental Law in “Born in Tucumán, die in Paris . Juan Bautista Aberdi, 1810-1884”. In addition, a panel discussion of specialists, other conferences and a publication on these topics will be held on other dates, with contributions from members of the organizing institution.
