The announcement of the release date of the fifth season of Money Heist has triggered the anxiety of the series’ followers, because, in addition, videos of the filming were leaked and they have shared some surprises that will arrive.
Netflix confirmed that the fifth installment of Casa de Papel will arrive in April 2021, although it did not reveal the exact day it will happen, the platform also reported that the sixth could be ready by 2022.
The series always finds a way to surprise with the story and the twists it takes, so we cannot trust what we see, because nothing is what it seems, neither in the plot nor in the recordings.
It is known that for this installment two new actors will enter the action, Patrick Criado and the protagonist of Velvet, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, but news that pleased many is that the beloved Nairobi, characterized by Alba Flores, will return to history, although not as many would like, but probably in the way that Berlin returned, as a flashback.
According to Itziar Ituño, who plays Lisbon, they started filming this new season at the end. For his part, Álvaro Morte, idolized The Professor, revealed that unexpected events will happen, especially with his relationship with the former inspector, news that alarmed those who wish for a happy outcome between the leader of the gang of robbers and Lisbon.
The comments that the series has raised do not end there, Netflix also announced a new version made in Korea, which is expected to go into production next summer.
It will be directed by Kim Hong-sun, a veteran in the dramas of the Asian country who has already been in charge of “Son: The guest”, “Black” and “Voz”, the script will be in charge of Ryu Yong-jae who has already worked with Netflix in “My holo love”.
Expectations are that this new version will repeat the success of the series starring Álvaro Morte, which achieved 65 million views in its fourth season.
That’s where things are going with regards to the Money Heist, which left everyone in suspense when Nairobi was killed and the fourth season ended with Lisbon infiltrating the National Bank of Spain. What ins and outs will the new season bring us?
