“I love my wife and my children, and I do everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness.”
Dave Grohl announced that he recently became the father of “a new daughter, born out of wedlock.”
“I intend to be a caring and supportive parent to her. I love my wife and my children, and I do everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness,” Grohl wrote in a statement posted to his Instagram on Tuesday, September 10.
Grohl has three daughters with his wife, Jordyn Blum. His eldest daughter, Violet, is a member of the touring Foo Fighters.
Recently, the Foo Fighters frontman, Dave Grohl, made headlines again when former President Trump used a Foo Fighters song for his campaign without permission.
In the days following the campaign rally in Arizona on August 23, the Foo Fighters confirmed multiple times that they had not granted permission for the Trump campaign to use their 1998 song “My Hero” under any circumstances. A representative for the band stated:
“No permission was sought from the Foo Fighters, and if it had been requested, it would not have been granted.”
Steven Chung, a spokesperson for the Trump campaign, said in an email to The Hill that the campaign “has the license to play the song.”
The Foo Fighters have not responded to these claims.
