The brother of the Spanish singer David Bisbal, José María Bisbal Ferre, was located this Wednesday after 30 hours missing in the province of Almería.
According to the Diario de Almería, sources from the Civil Guard Command reported that the artist’s brother had been found on Santa Eugenia street in the Almería municipality of Roquetas de Mar, in an area “close to lots and open fields and greenhouses in the area ”.
When the news broke, David Bisbal shared a message on his Instagram stories thanking those who participated in the search for their collaboration.
“This has been a moment of maximum tension for our entire family, thank you for your concern and your expressions of affection,” the artist wrote.
In addition, although he did not share the reason for the disappearance, he did report that his brother was currently “hospitalized, but stable.”
“I want to ask for respect for the privacy of my brother and the family, since this has been a very delicate and emotional situation for all of us,” concluded Bisbal.
According to police sources, a family member was the one who filed the lawsuit from which the usual protocol in cases of missing persons began.
Today Wednesday, before the news of his whereabouts was released, it had been reported that the search radius was expanding “with land, sea and air resources” and that the collaboration of other police forces had been requested.
Until now, no official source has revealed the true reasons that led to the disappearance of the artist’s brother; However, some media outlets have published that a strong depression or his fondness for spearfishing could be some of the hypotheses being considered.
