Milena Vukotic receives the Lifetime Achievement Award during the 69th edition of the Awards Donatello’s David. The award will be awarded during the live awards ceremony, in prime time on Rai 1, from the Cinecittà studios and broadcast for the first time in 4K (on the Rai4K channel, number 210 of Tivùsat), hosted by Carlo Conti and Alessia Marcuzzi. Fabrizio Biggio will be on the red carpet.

Thanks to her unique talent, Milena Vukotic has crossed, with grace and irony, sixty years of history of cinema, theater and television in Italy. She is an actress of great elegance, she has been the protagonist of interpretations rich in poetry and intelligence that have fascinated many great authors: from Federico Fellini (Juliet of the spirits) a Mario Monicelli (the first two episodes of the “My Friends” trilogy), from Luis Buñuel (The discreet charm of the bourgeoisie, The ghost of freedom, That dark object of desire) a Ettore Scola (The Archdevil, The Terrace), from Carlo Lizzani (The House of the Yellow Carpet, Cattiva) to Dino Risi (Thursday, The Seducers of Sunday), from Alberto Lattuada (Come and have coffee… with us) a Carlo Verdone (White, red and Green) up to Ferzan Ozpetek (Saturn against, A perfect day). Next to Paolo Villaggioin the iconic role of Pina, was the protagonist of seven of the ten film chapters dedicated to the accountant Ugo Fantozzi.

During the years, Milena Vukotic she obtained three nominations for the David for Best Supporting Actress: in 1983 for the film My Friends – Act II of Mario Monicelliin 1991 for Fantozzi to the rescue of Black Relativesin 2014 for Carlo’s chair of happiness Mazzacurati. Alongside her cinematographic career, which includes around one hundred films, since the mid-1960s Milena Vukotic has worked as a theater interpreter, directed by directors such as Giorgio Strehler and Franco Zeffirelli, and on television, from the famous drama “The newspaper of Gian Burrasca ” by Lina Wertmüller up to the successful series “A doctor in the family”.
