Nice curtain on the red carpet between Alessandro Borghi and Marcello Fonte before the delivery of the David di Donatello, the most important awards of Italian cinema. The two, both candidates for “Best Actor” – Borghi for «Sulla mia pelle», Fonte for «Dogman» – joked, predicting each other’s victory. “Borghi says he has bet on you,” says a reporter to Fonte. “And I bet on him,” replies Fonte. In the end Borghi himself won for his intense interpretation of Stefano Cucchi, but Matteo Garrone’s «Dogman» won 9 awards, including those for best film and for directing.
