David Warner announces retirement after 2024 T20 World Cup

Australian opener David Warner has announced his retirement from cricket.

Warner has said that 2024 will be his last year of playing cricket.

He said the T20 World Cup to be held in USA and West Indies in June 2024 is likely to be his last series.

If selected to play in that series, my ambition would be to win the World Cup.

David Warner has said he expects to retire with a World Cup win.

Warner, who played for Hyderabad and Delhi in IPL, is playing for Sydney Thunder in this year’s BPL in Australia.
