David Woodstock is an attorney at the Quiroga Law Office, PLLC, where he provides the support necessary to present our clients’ cases, including researching immigration matters, assisting in hearings, and drafting briefs and motions. David comes from the small town of Willamina, Oregon, where his family arrived as early settlers to the western United States in the 1840s. He grew up surrounded by nature and raised cattle and goats. David loves the outdoors and spent his teenage years active in the Boy Scouts and their honor program, the Order of the Arrow. In the Boy Scouts, David achieved the highest rank in that organization, Eagle Scout.

After high school, David pursued his love of music. He was a drummer in a band, played on recordings and toured for several years. In addition to drums, David plays guitar and is trained in classical piano.

David then served as a missionary for his church in the American Southwest, primarily on Native American reservations. During this time, he spent much of his time helping the less fortunate, particularly elderly widows, chopping firewood, tending livestock, and providing other services as needed.

After returning home, David met his wife Heidi and began his university studies. He originally planned to become a historian, but he focused his studies on southeastern Europe and the Near East from late antiquity to the early Middle Ages. After taking an advanced writing class in which he wrote an essay on Native American legal issues, David decided to pursue a career in law. From Western Oregon University, David continued his law studies at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. During law school, he enjoyed participating in various competitions and was an active member of the Federalist Society.

After law school, David spent much of his career in the area of ​​criminal law, where he worked on cases ranging from traffic tickets to capital murder cases.

David and his wife Heidi have four children, four dogs and three cats. When he is not in the office, David enjoys playing music, fishing, listening to history podcasts, and spending time with his family.
