Mons Davor scored his third goal in the Bundesliga this season (Friday), when he found the back of the net during Hoffenheim’s 2:1 home loss to Werder Bremen in the ninth round of the German league. The Israeli even completed 90 minutes for the first time this season in the league.

The host team fell behind to a goal by Marvin Dukšić in the 18th minute, but the Israeli was able to equalize in the 32nd minute after receiving the ball in an explosive move and beating the goalkeeper with a wonderful chip after a header from Dennis Geiger. Niklas Polkrug scored the winning goal from the penalty spot in the 88th minute.

Davor already found the back of the net earlier this season against Bochum and Mainz and this time he managed to find the back of the net after two meetings in which he failed to score. Last season, the Israeli scored three goals in 27 appearances. Hoffenheim missed a golden opportunity to temporarily cling to the top.
