The Dax remains hesitant after its low. The leading index did not achieve clear price gains, as expected before the trading session.
After a small increase in the opening minutes, it was recently down just 0.06 percent at 15,090.32 points. It did not build on the recovery that had begun the day before after falling below the 15,000 point mark early on during the day.
The MDax, which briefly dipped into negative territory for the year on Wednesday, continued to recover. With an increase of 0.16 percent to 25,322.51 points, it now has a slight increase in the annual balance for the time being. The EuroStoxx rose moderately by 0.1 percent on Thursday. With the positive exception of Japan, there had previously been manageable profits on the Asian stock exchanges.
Investors are waiting for impulses from Wall Street. The day before, surprisingly weak data from the US job service provider ADP had acted as a calming pill because it somewhat dampened the recent negative interest rate fears and initially halted a rally in bond yields. The focus will be on the official labor market report from the USA, which is expected on Friday. (dpa)
