Fifth edition dedicated to digital for Day of Perfume, established in 2017 by Accademia del Profumo, on the first day of spring, on 21 March. The Perfume Day will be preceded by a week of web and social events dedicated to fragrances on the official Accademia channels.
“Perfuming yourself is an exciting gesture – he comments the president of the Accademia del Profumo, Ambra Martone – which allows us to feel good, to enhance our personality, to communicate our mood of the moment and also to travel with the imagination. It is a gesture that we often do automatically, without even realizing it, in our daily rituals. On this day we want to invite everyone to make this gesture by paying attention to it and also to note all the extraordinary scents that surround us and accompany us in everything we do. I like to say that life is the greatest creative nose: if we pay attention to it, we realize that everything that is alive gives off its perfume. The anniversary of March 21, together with the whole previous week, will be an opportunity to meet the many people who follow us in a special area, where everyone can share the scents of their own life “.
For the 2021 edition, in fact, the schedule of digital events (live Instagram, podcasts and videos), created with the collaboration of cosmetic and essence companies, partners, journalists and professionals of the supply chain, will live within the virtual space of the #Zoneofmata Accademia del Profumo website the complete program).
As part of the numerous activities for the Perfume Day, Accademia will also dedicate a space to the link between the world of smell and the world of music. The #faisuonareiltuoprofumo challenge is inspired by this combination with which, from March 15 to 21, Instagram users will be invited to create a story with the fragrance of the heart accompanied by the music that they think best represents it. The stories collected under the dedicated hashtag and with the tag @accademiadelprofumo will then be reposted by Accademia.
