The new chairman of the National Board of Revenue (NBR). Dhaka Stock Exchange Brokers Association of Bangladesh (DBA) has congratulated Abdur Rahman Khan.
President of the organization Saiful Islam congratulated him in a congratulatory message sent to the media on Saturday (August 17).
In his congratulatory message, DBA President said, Abdur Rahman Khan is an efficient, experienced, professional accountant. He has been competently performing various important positions in the financial sector including tax administration of the government for a long time. In addition, he has extensive experience working on petroleum taxes as an International Advisor to the United Nations and as a consultant to the World Bank.
We believe that under his leadership, good governance will be established in the tax sector of the country and the business and trade of the country will speed up by improving the tax management.
The DBA president also said that the new chairman of NBR will give tax benefits to the market-related institutions for the development of the capital market and bring the country’s economy forward.
He further said, as a participant in the capital market, we on behalf of the association express our desire to work together with him and assure him of all kinds of cooperation.
