DCB Bank Launches Cashback Offer on UPI Transactions
In a bid to promote digital transactions and UPI usage, private bank DCB Bank has announced a new cashback offer. According to a statement issued by the bank, customers can avail cashback of up to Rs.7500 in a financial year for UPI and debit transactions through the Happy Savings Account.
To qualify for the cashback, customers are required to make a minimum UPI transaction of Rs.500. Additionally, a minimum account balance of Rs.25,000 is necessary to be eligible for cashback on UPI transactions. The cashback will be credited to the account at the end of each quarter, based on the transactions done during that period.
In addition to the cashback offer, DCB Bank is also offering a range of benefits to its customers with the Happy Savings Account. These include unlimited free RTGS, NEFT, and IMPS facilities, as well as Personal Banking and DCB Mobile Banking services. Customers can also enjoy unlimited debit card transactions at any ATM of DCB Bank.
Both new and existing customers are eligible for the cashback offer, although existing customers will need to transfer their current account to the Happy Savings Account to avail the benefits.
Earlier this month, DCB Bank hiked its interest rates on FD investments by 10 basis points for deposits below Rs.2 crore. The new interest rates came into effect from December 13, offering 8 percent interest to general customers and 8.60 percent interest to senior citizens holding FD accounts.
