The Belgian Arnaud De Lie won the Tour de Louvain (GP Jef Scherens cyclist) by winning the sprint ahead of his compatriot Stan Van Tricht and the French Axel Laurance, recent world champion hopes, Tuesday in the Flemish region. Another Frenchman, Axel Zingle, finished fourth.
De Lie, runner of the Lotto-Dstiny formation, already winner of La Polynormande in France three days earlier, completed the 192.4 km in 4 hours, 29 minutes and 7 seconds. He signed his 7th success of the season, the 16th in his career at only 21 years old. Laurence (Alpecin-Deceuninck), 22, had won the world title on the road among the hopefuls on Saturday in Glasgow.
