Kollam: Three people were found dead in Kalladayat. The bodies of a woman and two children were found near Punalur Mukkaduwa Rubber Park. The dead are suspected to be mother and children. They have not been identified yet.
All the three were found dead in Kalladayat on Wednesday afternoon. At around 1:30 p.m., the locals saw a woman, a boy and a girl walking through the deserted area. Later, when they went missing, the locals, who became suspicious, searched and found the three dead in Kalladayat.
The bodies of the three people were brought ashore by the help of the locals and the fire brigade. The bodies of the three were tied with a shawl. The preliminary conclusion of the police is that the incident was a suicide. The bodies were shifted to Punalur Taluk Hospital Mortuary.
