The IMSS Mailbox is a digital communication platform of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), which will facilitate procedures, acts, requirements and administrative resolutions digitally.
The tool that also allows you to submit promotions, requests, notices, as well as keep up to date with your obligations to the institution will have to be activated in a mandatory manner.
This mailbox is intended for employers registered with the organization who have at least one Employer Registry, as well as individuals who require or choose to use the services of this tool.
Activation of the IMSS Mailbox is mandatory and must be completed within a maximum period of 180 days, not excluding weekends or holidays, with a deadline of February 1, 2025.
Among the benefits of the IMSS Mailbox, the Government of Mexico noted that it includes:
* Have an information site available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
* Security in the management of your information and interactions with the IMSS.
* Document repository with fee payment proposals.
* Calendar of social security obligations.
* Electronic notifications, with prior notice to contact methods such as email and cell phone number.
* Submit your Clarifications and Guidance submissions online.
* Services in the field of Compliance Opinion in social security matters.
