‘Deadpool 3’, one of the most anticipated superhero films in recent years, has already finished its eventful filming, paralyzed at the end of 2023 due to Hollywood strikes. So they have celebrated its two main protagonists, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, sharing a series of very revealing photographs, with Reynolds and his Deadpool suit covered in blood and sweat and Jackman shaving, leaving behind his iconic characterization as Wolverine. All of this in anticipation of a theatrical release scheduled for July 26, 2024, with ‘Deadpool 3’ being the only UCM film to be released this year.
What can we expect from ‘Deadpool 3’?
“The suit hides the blood. Also the sweat… But today, with the filming of Deadpool completed, it is mostly tears… A giant and forever thank you to the cast and crew of our film who fought against the wind, the rain, the strikes and Hugh Jackman… All under the unconditional leadership of Shawn Levy. I’ve been able to make a movie with my best friends and that doesn’t happen very often. See you on July 26,” Ryan Reynolds wrote in a post on Instagram in which he shows us the state of the suit after the end of filming of ‘Deadpool 3’, with his waist and legs completely splattered with blood.
And it is expected that ‘Deadpool 3’ will be a real carnage of mutants from the Fox era, since a large number of cameos will appear, some of them already leaked. We will see to what extent Deadpool annihilates the previous X-Men universes in his definitive jump to the MCU thanks to the whims of the multiverse. For his part, Hugh Jackman has shared in X some photographs of himself shaving, leaving behind Logan’s look from recent months:
“What trip!!! I loved every minute of making this movie. Not because of the training and diet but the other 93.2%. To the best cast and crew, thank you! You are all aces. To two of my best friends Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy. I literally couldn’t have done this without you. Literally! July 26 can’t come soon enough. It’s time to shave,” writes Hugh Jackman. As a curiosity, in one of his photographs you can see the image gallery of his mobile phone, with a thumbnail of another image in which he and Reynolds hug each other dressed as their characters, with what looks like the sleeveless Wolverine suit, something that fans hope to see in the film.
