Bridget Norris filed for divorce from Dean Norris on February 14, 2025, in Riverside County, California, citing irreconcilable differences, according to USA Today. The couple, who wed on October 27, 2001, separated on January 15, 2025, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
Financial Restructuring at Swing Inn Café
The divorce proceedings are occurring alongside a Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing for the couple’s restaurant, the Swing Inn Café in Temecula, California. Records obtained by Page Six show the business filed for bankruptcy on September 25. A bankruptcy filing allows a company to restructure its debts to stay in operation.
The company reported $147,809.58 in assets against $1,811,598.46 in liabilities. In the bankruptcy filings, the restaurant indicated its assets range between $100,000 and $500,000, while liabilities fall between $1 million and $10 million. Dean Norris attributed the financial strain to a $1 million decline in the restaurant’s gross revenue from 2024 to 2025. This decline is believed to be linked to a drop in social media attention. The couple purchased the historic diner, which has been open since 1927, in 2022. Dean and Bridget transformed the establishment into a barbecue spot that also serves breakfast.

The Couple Seeks Spousal Support and Property Division
Beyond their two minor children, the couple share three other children who are adults. Her filing also seeks spousal support and a court determination regarding the division of property acquired during their marriage. Dean Norris filed a response to the petition in May 2025. The case remains active, with a hearing regarding a change in the actor’s legal counsel scheduled for January.
In addition to their work in the restaurant industry, the couple manages the Norris Performing Arts Center in Murrieta, California, which they opened in 2018. The center offers training in dance, vocal, acting and musical theater for students ages 3 to 18.

The recent legal and financial developments follow the death of his Breaking Bad co-star RJ Mitte, who passed away on October 12, 2026, at the age of 34. He was a sweetheart of a young man and will be greatly missed. This is so heartbreaking, I can’t believe it. Thinking of him and his family.
