Dean Stockwell, who starred in 1984 film Dune, dies

American actor Dean Stockwell has passed away at the age of 85, according to media reports citing his family.

The actor reportedly died of natural causes.

One of Stockwell’s most famous acting jobs is considered his role as Dr. Wellington Yue in the 1984 film adaptation of Frank Herbert’s novel Dune. He also became famous for his role in the fantastic television series “Quantum Leap”.

Stockwell also starred in David Lynch’s Blue Velvet, Married to the Mafia and many others.
