The Frankfurter Rundschau’s Schlappekicker campaign has been an institution in the sports landscape of Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main area for decades.
Frankfurt – It’s that time again. We at the Schlappekicker campaign are standing at your door and knocking – figuratively speaking. Thanks to your donations, we were once again able to make a difference in the sports scene in the Rhine-Main region this year and were able to make life easier for many people and make everyday life more pleasant with our wide range of help. We want to continue to do this in the future and we are optimistic that we will succeed. Thanks to you, our Schlappekicker friends. Because you were always there when we asked you to help others – and now the time has come again.
We are asking you today for your donation to the Schlappekicker collection 2023. So that we can help athletes who are in need through no fault of their own. So that we can support sports clubs and initiatives that are socially involved through sport. For this purpose, the Schlappekicker campaign was founded in 1951 by the FR sports editorial team. Our concern is timeless: We use your donations to help where athletes’ personal needs are great or where good ideas are being put into practice, for example in integration and inclusion work in sport. A reliable comrade-in-arms is our patron Karl-Heinz Körbel, who recently earned the proud sum of 8,226.50 euros for our relief efforts with the traditional Eintracht team through the annual Schlappekicker charity game. As part of our Advent and Christmas collection 2023, we are of course also hoping for your donations!

Every donation for the Schlappekicker is tax deductible according to the decision of the tax office Frankfurt am Main V – Höchst dated July 14, 2020 – St.No. 47 250 25160. For amounts up to 300 euros, the section “Receipt for account holder / depositor receipt” is sufficient for the tax office. If the donation is larger, we will automatically send a donation receipt as long as the full address can be found on the transfer form.

Recreational sports and commitment to the club do so much good, we experience this again and again: friendship and solidarity grow out of the sporting community in everyday life. We would like to thank all the volunteers who we were able to support this year. And we would like to thank you for your donation and your trust in the tasks ahead of us.
