The incident happened on Monday (September 9) around 3:30 pm. Later, when he was unconscious, he was taken to the Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) Hospital around 6:30 p.m. The doctor in charge of the emergency department declared him dead after the examination.

Jihad, a colleague of the deceased, said, ‘We were doing masonry work on the ground floor of an eight-storey building under construction. Later Raju Bhai was asked to supply the water motor line. After some time, Raju did not get any response, so he informed the doorman. Later, the janitor of that building saw Raju Bhai standing on the power line. Later, when he was taken to Dhaka Medical in an unconscious state, the doctor said that Raju Bhai is no longer alive.

He said that the body has been kept in the morgue of the emergency department of the hospital. The matter has been reported to the concerned police station.
