The Secretary General of the Presidency of the Republic has the deep sorrow to announce the death of retired Captain Bakary GOÏTA, father of His Excellency Colonel Assimi GOÏTA, President of the Transition, Head of State, this day April 09 2023 at the Kati University Hospital, following a long illness.
In this painful circumstance, the General Secretariat and all the staff of the Presidency offer their most saddened condolences to the grieving family and pray to Allah the Almighty to grant him his Grace.
