After her marriage, Rifa became active on social media and started vlogging under the name Mehnu Channel. The contents of Rifa’s blogs were about fashion, different foods, and travel. Along with Rifai, her husband Mehnu was also a regular presence on Vlogs.
Both have starred in music albums. Rifa arrived in Dubai on a visitor’s visa two months ago with her husband and only son Asan Mehnu. Then he returned home. Later, only Mehnu arrived in the UAE. Rifa also arrived in Dubai a few weeks after her son was deported. Back in Dubai, Riffa was busy producing a music album. Rifa posted a video of herself standing in front of the Burj Khalifa with Mehno on Instagram on Monday night.
Rifai, who was happily seen in the video, was found dead the next day. Efforts to repatriate the body are progressing, Dubai-based social activists said.
