Policing was reinforced in the region where a demonstration by residents took place this Friday (21) in Rio de Janeiro. The protest was held after the death of a young man, shot by military police. Felipe Santos, 25, was shot after threatening to use a gun during a fight; with him, a machete was seized. Friends and family, however, claim that the knife seized was not his.
