On Wednesday evening, a house fire was reported in Sunne at 21.19. According to the Bergslagen rescue region’s alarm operator, the fire was already fully developed by then. SOS Alarm’s Sören Gustavsson stated that it was still burning in the attic with open flames at 10.25 p.m. On the same day, the police confirmed that a man was found dead after the fire, and it will be investigated as arson since there is no obvious cause. Post-extinguishing work is still being done at the villa on Thursday by the emergency services.

At 21.19 on Wednesday evening, there was an alarm about a house fire in Sunne. The fire must then have been fully developed, according to the alarm operator at the Bergslagen rescue region.

– It is still burning with open flames in the attic, said Sören Gustavsson on SOS Alarm at 10.25 p.m.

On Wednesday morning, the police confirmed that a man was found dead after the fire. As no obvious cause is seen, it will be investigated as arson.

The emergency services are still doing post-extinguishing work in the villa now during Thursday.
