Controversy in Corrèze. Sunday, during the feast of “Saint Bernard”, a popular festival in the village of Pérols-sur-Vézère, a banner “Death to ecologists” was deployed on a tank. The latter was led by Alain Fonfrede, mayor of the town.
Marine Tondelier, secretary general of EELV, was indignant on X (formerly Twitter) of this banner and assured that legal action will be taken. “Inciting violence against environmental activists is serious and dangerous. Like when Darmanin calls us terrorists. Follow-up will be given, ”she wrote.
