In July 2023, the planet experienced the hottest month on record, leading Antonio Guterres, Secretary General of the United Nations, to declare that “the era of global warming is over, place in the era of global boiling”. In fact, the climate crisis will not allow a return to normal. The dynamics of global warming lead, in the median scenario, to a 4.5°C increase in the planet’s temperature in 2100, against a target of 1.5°C set by the Paris agreement.
